When I 1st noticed the L&H line, it was primarily for the Cerberus & Orthos. I kept seeing the Acionna and reading specs/reviews and wondering if/when I could get one. Given that I am not an impulse buyer, I kept coming back daily to look it over and again, view specs/reviews. The shine, the lume, the styling of the case and the fact it had an internal bezel, dual crowns, sapphire glass and the venerable M9015 made me want this piece even more as I had nothing in my collection like this as it is an all around watch that is as perfect at the pool as it is dressed up. Gave it the standard 3 week wait and to my luck/surprise, Doc was having a sale on them. I quickly jumped on it, waited the week for shipping and it has been on my wrist since. Simply stunning is my description of the Acionna. Wears sleek, perfect fit & finish, keeps excellent time at +/- 3 seconds and just shines. I just don't want or feel like wearing anything else as every morning, the Acionna is what I reach for as it is just perfect in every way. Many compliments from fellow co-workers that are astounded that it is ONLY a 500.00 watch. Looks and feels like it should be near my Shogun price wise as the Acionna has more to offer at half the price. Personally, Chris hit an over the wall home run with the Acionna and anyone sitting on the fence questioning if it is worth it, grab it now as it is worth way more, believe me. Now it is just finding a way to get the White/Red.

Thanks again Doc for the quality piece, the prompt shipping and overall awesome customer service. Said it before, but I will say it again. Seiko just lost a customer. Very proud to have L&H and Sparky on my wrist.

Now to wait for my Cerberus & Orthos.

  2. Beautiful and most versatile watch

Posted by Lukasz on 1st May 2014

I have my Acionna for several weeks already and I confirm all positive reviews. This is one of the most beautiful and I think most versatile watch I ever seen. You can wear it to everything from shorts to tux and with everything - bracelet, rubber, nato, leather and it look great with all combinations...maybe except rubber to tux;-). The design is wonderful with thorough consideration of details such as for example a bit rounded top of the case so that light reflection surround the bezel. The myiota movement is superb. I am taking the watch off for the night and depending on the position I am leaving it (crowns down or up) it's gaining or loosing 1 sec, maximum -3 seconds when I don't wear it too much during a day. I did not have an opportunity to check water resistance, but unfortunately I already checked shock resistance - I droped it while struggling to resize the braclet and it hurt me a lot more than the watch.

  3. Well Worth It

I received my Acionna ab out one week ago and took it to my watch maker to have the band sized. H ewas impressed as were all of the people who have seen it. It is a great semi-dressy watch as I know I will not be diving to 200 m any time soon. It is truly a compliment to both Chris and my dressy watch ( an Omega)
